2019 has started off beautifully with Emma and Steve’s Tyn Dwr Hall Winter Wedding.
When Emma contacted me that her and Steve were getting married at Tyn Dwr Hall, I was so excited! Tyn Dwr Hall is currently my favourite wedding venue to photograph at. Emma explained they were having a very relaxed wedding with their very close friends and family. Emma and Steve stayed over at Tyn Dwr Hall the night before to take the stress out of the morning of the wedding. I arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony to photograph the stunning Tyn Dwr Hall, with fabulous February blue sky, some shots of Steve finishing over getting ready and with the Groomsmen and then continued from there to stay with Emma until we came down the wonderful staircase where she met her Dad.
The ceremony was funny and emotional. Steve and Emma’s little boy was a page boy and had not seen Steve for a while. So when it was his turn to go down the aisle, he ran, shouting “Daaaaadddyyyyy!!!!” Had everyone is fits of laughter! There was also gorgeous Oliver, who had not seen his mum all morning as she was getting ready upstairs. To capture his reaction when he saw his beautiful mum come down the aisle was absolutely priceless! Even I cried a few tears as you could feel the pride and happiness rolling down his face! The ceremony took place at Tyn Dwr Hall and then because the weather was on our side, everyone was able to congratulate Emma and Steve with an abundance of confetti outside and whole group photo together!
Reception drinks were held in the hall and everyone had chance to mingle and catch up with everyone. I took Emma and Steve outside some portraits while the gorgeous warm golden light was in our favour and they also had a chance to catch up.
I love Tyn Dwr Hall’s grounds as there is always something growing. This winter wedding we were able to capture the sea of snow drops near the stream in the grounds as well as lots of winter greenery. There was still plenty of colour along with Emma’s beautiful red rose bouquet. We organised family photos around the front of Tyn Dwr Hall which is a lovely backdrop around the door just before everyone sat down for the wedding breakfast.
Speeches were before the wedding breakfast that was served by Wild Garlic. Steve did not get away that easy with the best man speeches. For the simple fact he did not just have one, not two, but three best men, which each in turn dished some dirt on Steve!
It was an absolute pleasure to be the photographer at Emma and Steve’s Tyn Dwr Winter Wedding and I wish them and their family a life time of happiness!
