Firstly, Happy New Year to you! Wow! 2021 WHAT A BLOOMING YEAR! Since lockdown restrictions have been lifted I have shot 65 weddings – my cameras have become my new BFFs!
I have been fortunate to have photographed some absolute belting weddings this year. Thank you to my gorgeous couples from when we hit the first lockdown in March 2020, postponing and still keeping their booking with me. Thank you for supporting my business and my family. Its been an absolute pleasure to capture your special days you have long awaited for. Thank you to my new couples who booked and braved it and trusted they could have their wedding they wanted too.
My first wedding back was Hannah and Martin’s Iscoyd Park wedding, and finishing with Mark and Rebekah’s Grange Barn wedding late December.
That grand total is not just my own couple’s weddings. I have been so incredibly lucky to work along side some amazing photographers in the wedding industry, (who many have become wonderful friends.) I have found it so important to help out, unite and get through these crazy times together and amazingly we have, phew! Who knew shooting 4 weddings a week would have been the “norm!”
I can not wait for 2022. Hopefully slow down a wee little bit (65 weddings in 6 months may have been a bit little overwhelming!) but we have made it to the end of another year. I can not wait to see what this new year brings!
