Getting Ready at the Estate

As a Hencote Estate Wedding Photographer I was asked to capture from morning preparations to the final dance. The couple and their bridal party prepared for the day at Hencote, with Emily getting ready in the beautiful house, The Grange at the estate while Matt and his groomsmen enjoyed the luxury of the estate’s charming safari tents. The excitement and anticipation filled the air as they prepared to say, “I do.”

An Elegant Indoor Ceremony

Although they originally planned for an outdoor ceremony, the unpredictable September weather meant the vows took place inside the contemporary vineyard unit. Despite the change in plans, the indoor setting provided an intimate and stylish atmosphere and the breathtaking vineyard views and the stunning Shrewsbury skyline was behind Matt and Emily as they said their vows. Stunning Evening Portraits in the Rain

Later in the evening, we managed to whisk Emily and Matt away for some portraits among the vines. Even though it was raining and incredibly muddy, Emily embraced the moment, which led to some incredibly creative and dramatic shots. The dark sky, the glistening rain, and the vineyard backdrop created a great finish to their collection of photos.

An Unforgettable Celebration

The evening reception was nothing short of electric! A phenomenal soul/Motown band took to the stage and instantly had everyone on their feet. Their infectious energy and an incredible lead singer kept the dance floor packed all night, making it a celebration to remember. The night ended on such a high, filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable moments.

Emily and Matt’s Hencote Vineyard Estate Wedding was a true testament to love, laughter, and the magic of the moment.

It just proves that unexpected weather surprises, do not spoil the day and memories can be made that will last a lifetime.
