INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY – CHESTER BIRDS EVENT AT 1539, CHESTER RACE COURSE

It was great to be back at Chester Race Course again this year to photograph the Chester BIRDS Event at 1539 at Chester Race Course on International Women’s Day.

Chester BIRDS, is a wonderful group that organise events and gatherings at various places in Chester, throughout the year. The money that is saved or made at the end of the events that are held is donated to B.I.R.D Charity Chester. . (Please check out their website for the excellent work that B.I.R.D Chester carry out www.birdcharity.org.uk )

B.I.R.D stands for Brain, Injury, Rehabilitation and Development and the work they do it incredible.

This particular evening involved various local female run businesses to Chester, setting up little pop up shops at 1539 for the event. Lots of beautiful products were up for sale from beautiful clothing, homemade candles, jewellery and even pamper treatments. As well as a chance of a glass of fizz catching up with the girls! As you will see from below.

Dan and the team in the kitchen at 1539, served up some delicious colourful food to complete the evening.

The event was very well attended and filled the restaurant which was great to see and obviously a very popular charity to support.

An amazing total of over £3000 was raised which is just simply incredible! To
