Sally and Ash had perfect photo weather conditions – over cast making the best light! – there is a positive out of everything! The one thing I remember from their wedding is how close Sally and Ash are with their families, it certainly gives those extra wow factors to the photos, bringing back those thoughts and feelings each time when you look at the photos. That is the power of photography.
Sally got ready with her family and bridesmaids in the Bridal Cottage at the main entrance of Combermere Abbey and was driven to the ceremony in the Crossley car (curtesy of Combermere Abbey) along the long drive way.
It was great working with a great team of local suppliers once again. Lizzie and Sophie are very professional hair and make-up artists and had everyone ready for the time I needed them ready by to do some photos with Sally, her family and bridesmaids.
Red Floral Design did numerous details for Sally and Ash – the bouquets, button holes, the place settings – consisting of sweet peas (which were beautiful and smelt amazing!) and the styling of the tables (check out the details in the photo collection below, great work!)
Spectacular food was served by Pickled Walnut – one of Combermere’s recommended caterers – thank you for looking after us too!!
I can not believe how quick the day went! I am so pleased we planned the day well, so we had the opportunity to make the most of Combermere’s grounds for the photographs – the walls, the symbolic tree lined wall way, the colourful flowers, I think we got some beautiful portraits.
Sally and Ash, it was an absolute pleasure working with you both and I wish you a wonderful time away on your honeymoon!
