I am incredibly lucky to be a recommended Combermere Abbey Wedding Photographer. This venue is one of my favourite venues in the local area to where I am based in Whitchurch Shropshire.
It does not matter what time of year, the gardens are always bursting with surprises and it certainly did not fail for Chris and Suze’s autumn wedding. The change in the leaves and the warm sunshine really added that extra “wow” to the photos.
I met Suze and Chris at one of Combermere Abbey’s wedding fayres and was so pleased to hear from them after it. When their wedding day arrived I was so excited as the sun was out and the blue sky was so vibrant as you can see in the photos through this post.
Suze’s dress was stunning, I loved the back of it in particular, the saying “less is more” certainly applied here. The flowers had the very personal touch and done by Suze’s mum and auntie.
Suze and Chris both got ready in Combermere’s beautiful cottages, making it extremely sociable in the morning. Their ceremony was in Combermere’s symbolic Glasshouse. I love photographing in the Glasshouse as it really does not matter rain or shine the natural light is always fantastic!
After the ceremony their was plenty of confetti (it smelt AMAZING! with the fresh lavendar that was used), time to mingle, beautiful autumnal portraits in the trees and along Combermere’s tree lined wall way.
The Pavillon was decorated with so many little touches; the table plan, the centre pieces, the memory tree with special photographs on, sparklers, blankets all done by Suze.
Speeches were hilarious as expected, Suze and Chris are great characters so plenty of smiles and laughs to capture!
The evening was fantastic, everyone was up straight away and having an incredible time!
Thank you so much Suze and Chris for having me along to capture your wedding, I had a fantastic time!!
