Combermere Abbey Wedding Photographer – Summer Wedding
Combermere Abbey is one of my favourite local venues to photograph at, the walled gardens are spectacular and certainly did not disappoint on Tara and Matt’s special day!
How I got to know the couple…
I met Tara two years before their big day at a wedding fayre at Combermere Abbey, along with with her mum and Maid of Honour. I knew then I really would love to photograph that wedding and when Tara and Matt booked after the fair, I knew it was going to be a fantastic wedding to capture!
They held their wedding ceremony at St.Mary’s Church, Wistaston, lead by the lovely Reverend Mike! After the ceremony ice cream was served outside church (on a wonderful little bike cart!) It was forecasted to be a hot day (and for once the British weather did not disappoint!)
We headed off to the countryside to celebrate back at Combermere Abbey. We captured some beautiful photos around the floral filled walled gardens and gave Tara and Matt a chance to have some time together. A wonderful wedding breakfast was served by Sue Le Bonne, followed by some hilarious speeches and everyone danced the night away with Groovy Revolution.
My favourite things about Tara and Matt’s wedding. One – the prettiness – the table decorations, flowers, cake, place settings. Tara’s sister-in-law cross stitched every single guests’ name while she on maternity leave! I did not know where to start with the details! Two – the love that they were surrounded by. EVERYONE had a huge smile on their face all day long. Three – how hot it was! True British Summer at its finest!
Thank you so much Tara and Matt for having me along at your wedding day – I wish you both all the happiness for your future together!
