The Keeper’s Cottage
The Keeper’s Cottage is ideal for bridal preparations. It offers a peaceful, homely atmosphere with a seperate room with mirrors and surfaces —perfect for hair and makeup to be done. It’s also a dream location for getting-ready photography, capturing emotional, intimate moments with your closest people you are getting ready with. The beauty of this cottage is the proximity it has to the Glasshouse. It is the closest building to your wedding ceremony and allows beautiful landscape photos to be taken on your walk up to the Glasshouse with family and bridesmaids.
Stone Lodge
This building is located at the top of the driveway when you arrive at Combermere Abbey directly off the A525. Stone Lodge is a beautiful building if you are wanting to be hidden away from your guests arriving, and getting ready. It also has accommodation so you are able to arrive the day before your wedding. This building is superb for the Groom and Groomsmen also when the Bride and Bridesmaids are down in the Keeper’s Cottage. For pre wedding photos this is a great building with lots of natural light, space and gardens.
Courtyard Cottages
The Courtyard Cottages are perfect for larger weddings, and/or opportunity of a weekend catch up! With the cottages being so close together it is such a sociable affair. From a photography point of view, this allows lots of opportunities for lots of candid photos!
The Pavilion
The Pavilion provides so many options through out the day. It’s perfect for when your guests are arriving before the ceremony, to grab a drink and say “Hello!” to the Groom. It is a great spacious and sociable setting. It has views across the gardens and plenty of room to spread out, it sets the tone for a fun, joyful and relaxed wedding day.
Progressing to later in wedding day, the Pavilion is an open plan building. With an area to relax with sofas for those who want a chance to relax, quiet moments with children, the bar, table seating area and the dance floor. Meaning its perfect for keeping everyone together throughout the day!
