It was great to be carrying out a Shropshire Photographer Location Shoot on such a fine summer’s day. With lots of blue sky and vibrant colours from the grass, plants, buildings making this my style of photography!

Shropshire Photographer Location Shoot – Beautiful Little Retreats!

I was in absolute ore photographing these beautiful and glamorous retreats; Duncan’s Place, GG’s Yurt, Grumpy’s Retreat.

You will be able to see why by looking at the photos from the location shoot below.

The Little Yurt Meadow’s business owner, Sharon, has an amazing eye for detail and has decorated out the yurts in an array of lovely bedding, furnishings and nik-nacs. They are so well equipped with everything you can think of from cosy log burners to mini fridges to hot water bottles as well as little comforts of hot chocolate and marshmallows! It is more than home from home!

I was really delighted to be asked to do this location shoot and produce some photographs for The Little Yurt Meadow’s new website to be launched. It was great to come across this little gem on the Shropshire/Welsh/Cheshire border and I am already thinking of a special occasion that maybe coming up for an excuse to book one of the Yurts… decisions.. which yurt?!?

My wide angle lens is one of my favourite bits of equipment in my kit bag and it really did make the Yurts look wonderful. Getting a lot of of the decor in one single frame shows the beauty and space of these circular buildings.
