Summer Wedding Combermere Abbey – Kerry and Joseph – Shropshire Wedding Photographer
Cornflower Blue Themed Summer Wedding Combermere Abbey, Whitchurch Shropshire
Meeting Kerry and Joseph for the first time to chat about their Summer Wedding Combermere Abbey…
When I first met Kerry and Joseph, I knew it was going to be a great Summer Wedding Combermere Abbey and very well organised. I loved listening to the story of how Joseph proposed at The Savoy in London and how Kerry had no idea at all! We meet at The Keeper’s Cottage at Combermere Abbey. The Combermere Abbey team are fantastic and allow all their clients the chance to meet suppliers in there. I love it as it gives me opportunity to walk around with clients and find out the bits they love the most so I can be their Combermere Abbey Wedding Photographer.
Sunny Shropshire Wedding Venue
Combermere Abbey was their choice of venue, close to where Kerry grew up (and one of my favourite venues too!). Their ceremony was beautifully conducted at St. Alkmunds Church, Whitchurch. I love photographing here as the church is full of lots of natural light from the very large stain glass windows.
Wedding Day Morning Preparations at Willington Lodge
Kerry got ready with her family around her at Willington Lodge, lots of laughter and intimate moments were captured. The beautiful flowers were supplied by The Flower Divas – another Combermere Abbey recommended supplier. I loved the choice of colour for the bridesmaids dresses a very beautiful cornflour blue!
Kerry’s dress was beautiful as you will see below. The detail in her dress from the embroidery and beading was just breath takingly stunning!
I could not believe my eyes when Kerry informed me that she was going to church in the very car that her mum and dad when they married many years ago, and was still in fantastic condition!
Joseph got ready at Rookery Hall, we had the opportunity to photograph him getting ready with his Best Man. They made their way over to St. Alkmund’s Church for some photos with the sandstone walls before family and friends arrived for the ceremony.
Combermere Abbey Wedding Reception
Back at Combermere we fulfilled portraits of Kerry and Joseph, family shots, confetti and the whole group photo. Kerry and Joseph had plenty of time to catch up with friends and family who had travelled from all over the world while we worked discreetly capturing their wedding.
Evening Entertainment at Combermere Abbey
The atmosphere through out the evening was great, the band got everyone up dancing straight away and lead them on late into the night!!!
I loved being a Combermere Abbey Wedding Photographer once again! Thank you for having us along to capture your day and wishing you a wonderful and happy future!
