Marquee Wedding Photographer – Charlotte & Adam – Autumnal Wedding Shropshire

St. Mary and St. Michael’s Church, Burleydam, Shropshire Wedding

I would love to share with you Charlotte and Adam’s Autumnal Wedding Shropshire that I photographed last October. It took place at the beautiful local church in Burleydam, Whitchurch and then a stunning marquee reception – couple of miles down the road, back at home!

Gold themed Autumnal Wedding Shropshire

The marquee was at the family home. Charlotte’s mum had some wonderful ideas to create at home – so more of a reason to have a marquee at home to make sure the work got done (by Charlotte’s Dad!)

I think I can honestly say I have never seen such a beautiful marquee! The beautiful gold theme was subtle throughout the marquee to the cake to the bridesmaids dresses. The effort that went into the landscaping was just incredible! They made a pond/lake, the jetty, little bridge – the view from inside looking out the marquee was amazing!

On one wall in the marquee, they had created a montage of relatives who got married over the years – leaving one space free for a photo of Charlotte and Adam to go in. This was left blank on the wedding day. The next day – to make use of the marquee, a charity evening was held in the marquee which I was fortunate enough to go to and photograph – (they had professional dancers from the dance school down the road – Pritchards – performing – AJ who was on strictly come dancing – helps coach these!) – Well that evening they put their photograph in their frame so I was able to finish Charlotte and Adam’s wedding with this final photo!

Charlotte and Adam have been together for around 10 years! Adam is a farmer and Charlotte has recently become a Dr. Just by chance their wedding car had the registration plate with DNA in it! (Obviously meant to be!)

The Church was St. Michael and St. Mary’s Church, Burleydam, a church that has been in both families for years. When they came out of church, they kept the farming tradition  and walked through the arch of Pikles!!!
