Harry Potter Themed Event at Chester Town Hall
Catering by Horseradish for Harry Potter Themed Event
Earlier this month I was given a fantastic brief by Horseradish Catering Company, to join them and help build their incredible portfolio and photograph a wonderful event that they had been asked to cater for – a Harry Potter themed event at Chester Town Hall.
I was completely gob smacked when I arrived to photograph the Harry Potter themed event. The attention to detail was phenomenal as you will see from the photographs. As a bit of a Harry Potter fan myself it was great to capture a new trend that is growing at events and also Harry Potter themed weddings. Great way to add an unique stamp on your do!
The event was actually a Christmas works do and it was ace to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the evening, The Horseradish staff dressed up and really played along with the theme. Everyone picked their houses with a lucky dip badge out of a hat and really mixed everyone up for the grand banquet in the grand hall.
Chester Town Hall was THE perfect venue for the event. With its high ceilings, painted portraits and themed decor it was actually like being at Hogwarts! Horseradish played up to the banquet feel and served up a fantastic feast of traditional Turkey Dinner for everyone to serve themselves and generally just muck in. The event was incredibly sociable with the long tables and benches.
For desert, guests had the opportunity to create their own ice cream which was good fun when toppings were swtched around to eye of rat for example!
A superb magician was there to keep the mystery going, lots of potion drinks and a live band playing in the eventing to keep everyone going until late!
I hope if you are a Harry Potter fan looking at this and getting dome
